Kids Listen Up!


The Munich Philharmonic’s children’s and young people’s program offers youngsters from kindergarten on a chance to get acquainted with music. From pre-school all the way to music honors class, they’ll find something for every age group, both for groups as well as for individual listeners.

Once a year, children take over the Gasteig. The institutes in the Gasteig as well as outside cooperation partners offer a colorful, varied program with more than 80 different events for children from 4-18. >>>

Hosted by school kids for school kids. Young people guide their contemporaries through a Munich Philharmonic concert and put together a suitable side program. >>>

The Instruments of the Orchestra”

How loud is the tuba, how many pipes on an organ, how high can a fiddle play? The Munich Philharmonic offers free instrument demonstrations for children with their parents. >>>
