Isabel Charisius

Until beginning her studies, Isabel Charisius took violin lessons from Johannes Trieb. She completed an academic education at the music academies in Karlsruhe and Tel Aviv before moving on to the Music Academy in Vienna with a DAAD Scholarship.

She studied viola with Thomas Kakuska (Alban Berg Quartet), who had aroused her interest in this instrument at chamber music classes.
