Due to ongoing travel restrictions and quarantine regulations when travelling from or to the People’s Republic of China, we must unfortunately postpone the performance of Tan Dun’s »Buddha Passion«. The special instrumentation required for the work, with indigenous singers and traditional Chinese instruments, make it impossible to realise the project under the existing restrictions.
The concert on 1 May 2022 has been cancelled without replacement. Tugan Sokhiev will join us on 30 April to conduct a special concert. On the programme are Aram Khachaturian’s Flute Concerto with solo flutist Michael Martin Kofler, and Symphony No. 4 by Johannes Brahms. Tickets already purchased for 1 May can be returned via München Ticket or transferred to 30 April. Tickets for 30 April remain valid but can also be cancelled via München Ticket if desired due to the change of programme and line-up. Please contact therefore info@muenchenticket.de.
