Permitted hall occupancy reduced to 25% and »2G+« regulation
With the new Corona regulations the occupancy rate for cultural events has been limited to 25%. For the upcoming concerts, the effective audience capacity of the Isarphilharmonie is therefore approx. 450 seats for the upcoming concerts. All visitors must verify their »2G+« status – vaccinated or recovered AND a negative lateral flow (antigen) test. Tickets already booked for the concerts of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra on 8, 9 and 10 December will be cancelled without exception. If you have purchased tickets, München Ticket will contact you to refund your money. If yo are a subscriber, we will contact you and give you a pro-rata refund of your subscription. Please note that the cancellations and refunds may take some time.
Advance booking for the approx. 450 available seats is expected to start at the beginning of next week. Bookings will be possible only via München Ticket and not by subscription. Should the 7-day incidence in Munich rise above 1000, all cultural events will be cancelled altogether.
FFP2 masks must be worn throughout all concerts.
For the upcoming concerts, adults will need proof of one of the following: - a vaccination certificate (with the final vaccination received at least 14 days ago) OR - a past Covid-19 infection (proof of positive PCR test result that is at least 28 days old and no older than six months) AND - a negative lateral flow (antigen) test (not older than 24 hours). Please have a photo identity card and one of the above documents ready in addition to your ticket when you enter.
Children and pupils under 12 years are exempt from these regulations (3G, 3G+, 2G and 2G+), regardless of their vaccination status, as pupils are regularly tested at school. Please have your student ID ready as proof. Children and pupils aged 12 and over are subject to the same rules as adults and must be either vaccinated or recovered with a negative lateral flow test (»2G+«).
