As the orchestra of the City of Munich, we enrich the cultural life of the Bavarian capital with a diverse program for young and old, and we are also at home in the world's great concert halls. Chief Conductor

Lahav Shani will become principal conductor of the Munich Philharmonic as of the 2026/27 concert season. In summer 2024, Shani will conduct the Munich Philharmonic at »Klassik am Odeonsplatz«.
