Events for Members of the »Friends and Patrons«

Members of our »Friends and Patrons« Association enjoy a wide range of opportunities to meet orchestra musicians, academy students, and distinguished guests through diverse events and projects: from attending rehearsals at the Isarphilharmonie and festive Advent concerts to audition coaching sessions and the annual general meeting, as well as group excursions and the »Philharmonic Fun« concert.

Orchestra Academy

Orchestra Academy

An integral part of the Munich Philharmonic, the Orchestra Academy, attracts exceptionally talented young musicians from around the world. Academy members gain valuable orchestral experience through regular performances with the orchestra and collaborations with internationally renowned conductors and soloists. The »Friends and Patrons« support the Academy through scholarships of up to 18 months, helping young musicians develop their artistic careers.
