How much does a double bass actually weigh? How many instruments does a percussionist have to practise? Why do oboists sometimes need carving tools? And how does a note emerge in a horn from nothing more than a breath of air?

And who answers all these questions? We do! Members of the Munich Philharmonic introduce their instruments and you can pepper them with every question that comes to mind.

Duration of concert: about 1 h

The event is free of charge; however, a ticket is required for every visitor, regardless of age. Tickets can be reserved from 22 September 2026 via our webshop at mphil.de as well as through München Ticket.
