Symphony No. 6 in F major Opus 68 ("Pastorale")
Through a secret gate, Maja and Paul are drawn into a world full of magic and adventure: they collect dust from butterfly wings, play with the fish in the water, and explore an endless playground of grass blades, leaves, and flower cups together. Until a powerful storm sweeps them up and reveals the world from the highest heights.
To Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony, the famous Pastoral, the artist Anna Vidyaykina creates poetic images from sand, live on a light table and projected directly onto a screen — a sensory fusion of music, painting, and shadow theatre. Two dancers bring the images to life, encountering both small and great wonders along the way. A thrilling, funny, and imaginative adventure for the whole family.
