Here’s your chance to fulfil your dream of playing together with the professional musicians of the Munich Philharmonic. If you play the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon or horn, then grab your instrument and let’s go!
Further down the page, you will see six videos. The first is a recording of the second movement, Andante, of Franz Danzi’s Quintet in G minor, Op. 56 No. 2, performed by Gabriele Kroetz (flute), Lisa Outred (oboe), Johannes Hofbauer (bassoon), Mia Schwarzfischer (horn) and Alexandra Gruber (clarinet) of the Munich Philharmonic. In each of the five other videos, we have omitted one voice, so that you can play along to the recording on your instrument. You’ll also find links on this page to download the sheet music for each of the voices as a PDF file.
Tip: If the piece is too fast for you, you can click on the Settings icon (the little gearwheel) in the video and slow down the playback speed.
We’d love you to record a video or audio as you play along with the Munich Philharmonic and send it to us at spielfeldklassik(at)muenchen.de or post it on our Facebook or Instagram page under the hashtag #mphilminus1
