What materials is a drum skin made of? How many mallets do you need to play a timpani, and where do the notes come out of a vibraphone? Find out the answers to these and other questions at our percussion workshops, where preschool and primary school children get to know and try out selected percussion instruments of an orchestra. At the end of the workshop, the children use percussion instruments to bring stories to life, such as the story of the Little Mole Who Knew It Was None of His Business, the journey of two raindrops in »Der Wasserkreislauf«, or the fascinating »Rassel-Schepper-Bumm-Maschine«. There’s something here for everyone!
