Céline Vaudé was born in Reims, France, and took her first lessons at the age of four. She studied at the Conservatoire National de Région de Reims, (winning the "Prix de violon et de sonate" by a unanimous vote, among other accolades), continuing on to the Conservatoire National de Région de Boulogne-Billancourt, where she worked with Suzanne Gessner and Hortense Cartier Bresson (here her awards included the "Prix de violon" and "Prix de quatuor à cordes"). In the year 2000 she was accepted at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she continued her studies with Gérard Jarry, Ami Flammer and Michael Hentz, finally receiving her Diplôme de Formation Supérieure de Violon. She took part in several master classes, among others with Michael Hentz, Alexandre Vinnitski, Ruggiero Ricci, Pavel Vernikov, Suzanne Gessner, Roland Gaugareil and Marie-Anniek Nicolas. An active chamber musician, at the age of 15, she launched her solo career at home and abroad, playing such works as Ravel's "Tzigane", Bruch's Concerto in G major, Beethoven's Romances, Mozart's Sinfonia concertante, etc.
In 2003 she became a member of the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire de Paris, until receiving a part-time contract from the Munich Philharmonic in 2006. In 2007, she became a permanent member of the first violin section in the Munich Philharmonic.
